xan is an actor, writer and creator who constantly questions, and remains curious about the human experience. Their artistic mission is to spread empathy and responsible communication through bold storytelling. A graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts, xan holds the title of Disney Imagineer having worked for their Live Entertainment and Marvel VFX sectors. Most recent, they narrated and served as creative consultant for the documentary Limitless: The Dr. Chester Pierce Story. They have written for Heartbeat Opera (QUANDO 2021) and are continually developing their feature-length films. You may see them on Diarra From Detroit (BET+) and a wide array of independent short films, scripted podcasts and theatrical productions. In the academic world, xan teaches an introductory screenwriting course for middle schoolers under Vanderbilt University's program for Talented Youth.
When xan’s not working, you may find them tending to their plants or making a cup of tea.
